Sea Turtles Snorkeling in Akumal Private tour

We had a fantastic private tour from Playa del Carmen with Fernando for a group of 11 people, visiting Tulum ruins and Turtle Beach in a comfortable van. Fernando’s communication was excellent from the start, and he arrived right on time. The entire day was extremely well organized, all tickets and logistics were handled seamlessly, yet he remained completely flexible, adjusting the pace and plan to suit our group. He was fun, engaging, and very informative, making the experience enjoyable for both adults and young people. Everything felt easy, smooth, and thoughtfully planned. We would highly recommend Fernando to anyone looking for a private, stress-free, and well-run tour in the area.

Brilliant morning swimming with turtles at Akumal, cool cenote swim and lunch. Fernando was the perfect host. He arrived early and gave us clear instructions and information about our trip. We had 2 children aged 3 and 6 with us (other tour operators won’t take under 5’s) and he was amazing with them- pulling the 3 year old along in a ring for much of the turtle swim so that the adults could snorkel. The cenote was also perfect and easily accessible for the children. Lunch in the jungle was delicious. Would highly recommend!!!

Fernando was friendly, so knowledgeable about Mayan culture, and understanding of our need to take things at a slower pace. The driver Julio was friendly and a safe driver. The van was comfortable and clean. Our local guide at Akumal was also wonderful. We appreciated all the work they did and highly recommend anyone in the area books a tour with Fernando!

Our snorkeling tour to Akumal with Fernando was great! Communicating with him prior to the tour was with prompt replies and very helpful. Our tour was fun and informative he arranged everything and supplied us with pictures taken with his go-pro.

I had a great time on this tour. My family and I enjoyed being able to see the turtles and to have such a close experience. The Cenote was so beautiful and was so much fun being able to explore by ourselves for a while. Fernando took us to a great taco place for lunch. So delicious! Overall, this was a great tour and great way to spend a day in Mexico.
