I feel very fortunate to be able to share the colors of Mexico with my guests, and there is so much to see!!! I can take you to the jungle to search for wild monkeys or to plunge into crystal clear waters of cenotes, to explore the mysteries of the Maya civilization and colorful colonial cities, or to snorkel with whale sharks and sea turtles. I will share with you stories of Maya life and Mexican culture, you'll find out how the cenotes were formed and why sea animals are so amazing! I am meticulous about providing the best service while showing you the hidden gems of the Riviera Maya and the Yucatan Peninsula. I am a certified tour guide which means I can accompany you to the archaeological sites (National Institute of Anthropology and History). I have 11 years of experience in guiding snorkeling tours and I will make sure you enjoy your time in the water even if it's your first time snorkeling. I regularly complete Red Cross First Aid courses. I am an amateur diver and free diver (PADI Open Water/ AIDA 2). Overview of your Playa Del Carmen tour
Join me on this adventure into the jungle, which is home to various Maya communities! Are you a history and culture enthusiast? I'd love to address your opinions and notions about this enigmatic civilization. I'll be glad to share little known Maya facts, theories and mysteries. During this trip we'll also visit a Nature Reserve run by local families! We'll get to hike through jungle and use special tricks to find two different species of monkeys who live freely in this protected area. You'll have the opportunity to experience a real Maya purification ceremony held by the local shaman. You'll also get the chance to join me into the Maya underworld, accessing a breathtaking underground cenote. I'll make sure I tell you fascinating stories about the formation of the cenotes as well as their significance in the Maya culture.
Your Playa Del Carmen tour itinerary
-After pickup, we'll drive to the Coba archaeological site (located 1,5 hours from Playa del Carmen, 1 hour from Tulum's hotel area and 2 hours from Cancun's). -On arrival, we'll explore the ancient Maya city of Coba a couple of hours by riding bicycles or pedicabs, whatever you prefer! -Afterwards, we'll drive for around 20 mins towards the Punta Laguna Nature Reserve. -We'll spend up to 3 hours here, within which we'll be blessed by the Maya shaman and explore this protected area, keeping our eyes open for both howler and spider monkeys. -After a serene walk through the jungle, you'll get to join me on a thrilling zip line! -Next, we'll go on a relaxing canoe ride across the calm waters of a beautiful lagoon. -Afterwards, we'll rappel down to a cave cenote for one last unforgettable moment. -At last, we'll return to your lodging. This adventure is fully customizable. You could visit less places if you're time restrained. Please contact me for any itinerary change/if you're more than 10 travellers.
