I feel very fortunate to be able to share the colors of Mexico with my guests, and there is so much to see!!! I can take you to the jungle to search for wild monkeys or to plunge into crystal clear waters of cenotes, to explore the mysteries of the Maya civilization and colorful colonial cities, or to snorkel with whale sharks and sea turtles. I will share with you stories of Maya life and Mexican culture, you'll find out how the cenotes were formed and why sea animals are so amazing! I am meticulous about providing the best service while showing you the hidden gems of the Riviera Maya and the Yucatan Peninsula. I am a certified tour guide which means I can accompany you to the archaeological sites (National Institute of Anthropology and History). I have 11 years of experience in guiding snorkeling tours and I will make sure you enjoy your time in the water even if it's your first time snorkeling. I regularly complete Red Cross First Aid courses. I am an amateur diver and free diver (PADI Open Water/ AIDA 2). Overview of your Playa Del Carmen tour
Do you want to snorkel in two completely different environments in one morning? Then join me on this fun adventure loved by kids and adults! We'll start our day early to ensure being among the first visitors in the Akumal Bay Marine Refuge. The sea in the morning is also the calmest providing us with best swimming and snorkeling conditions! During this tour you will get the unique opportunity to see Green Sea Turtles in their natural environment. If we are lucky enough, we'll get to observe them having breakfast! Besides ensuring you have a safe and fun swim alongside one of the most ancient creatures on our planet, I will also gladly share all the curious facts about them. In addition to swimming in the salty waters of the Caribbean Sea, we will visit one of the freshwater Cenotes in the Maya jungle, where you'll have the chance to swim and snorkel in its crystal-clear waters!
Your Playa Del Carmen tour itinerary
- After picking you up, we'll drive to Akumal- home of sea turtles (40 minutes from Playa del Carmen, 25 minutes from Tulum, 1,40 hours from Cancun). - On arrival we will go to Akumal beach and will swim out from the shore in search of Green Sea Turtles! * - Afterwards, we will drive from the beach to the jungle to visit a cenote (20 minutes). - On arrival, we will swim and snorkel in one of these beautiful sinkholes. - At last, we'll return to your hotel. *During this adventure it's crucial to protect the marine life and preserve their natural environment. We'll have to follow a set of simple yet effective guidelines determined by CONANP (National Commission of Natural Protected Areas) to prevent causing harm to the turtles and to limit our impact on their habitat. Please contact me for any itinerary changes or if your group is larger than 10 travellers.
