Hello, I’m Kiyo, a National Licensed, English-speaking private guide based in Tokyo and surrounding areas. Before becoming a professional guide, I volunteered for nearly twelve years in Tokyo and Kyoto, welcoming visitors from around the world. For the past three years, I have worked as a private guide, continuing my passion for helping guests understand Japan beyond the surface. Tokyo is a city where modern life and long traditions exist side by side, and the many choices can feel overwhelming. Not being born and raised here, I understand that well. Discovering Tokyo step by step myself helps me guide you at a comfortable pace. I was born and raised in Kobe, in the Kansai region, known for its warm, people-centered culture. I value meaningful conversation and aim to create relaxed experiences — whether exploring history, local neighborhoods, or contemporary culture. Although I am new to this platform, I have received consistent five-star feedback from guests through other agencies. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or ideas you would like to discuss. I look forward to welcoming you to Japan. National Licensed Tour Guide (English) No. EN05863 Certified Domestic Itinerary Manager *My tours are all walking tours using public trains. *The maximum number of people I can guide is 7

Begin in Kichijoji, one of Tokyo’s most loved local neighborhoods, where nature and daily life blend, and end in vibrant Shinjuku. This private 4-hour walking tour explores a quieter, authentic side of Tokyo at a relaxed pace. Start with a stroll through Inokashira Park, a spacious green oasis with a calm atmosphere. Then walk through the north side of Kichijoji, where independent boutiques, cozy cafes, and traditional shopping streets reflect local life, where you can discover unique, character-filled shops along the way. During the walk, you can enjoy casual local snacks or drinks, with approximately 1,000 yen per person included. If time allows, the tour may include a visit to either Asagaya Pearl Center, a classic covered shopping arcade, or Nakano Broadway, known for its unique pop culture shops. This stop is flexible and may be skipped depending on pace. The tour continues to Shinjuku, where the atmosphere shifts into a lively urban landscape filled with energy, contrast, and iconic Tokyo scenery.
