This is not fit for young kids except those who can walk a lot and are interested in history and culture. - Meiji Jingu Shrine : A Shinto shrine in a serene and deep forest in the middle of Tokyo. - Omote Sando Ave. / Takeshita Alley : Asia's most fashionable avenue (Tokyo Champs Elysees) and the teenagers' fashion paradise in Harajuku. - Shibuya : The 'Crossing' and the coolest capital of young Tokyoite. - Tsukiji : Arguably the largest sea food retail market. - Imperial East Garden : An authentic and gorgeous Japanese garden. - Imperial Double Bridge and the Main Gate : The official face of this nation. - Sensoji Temple / Nakamise alley: The oldest temple in Tokyo and its narrow but nostalgic shopping alley. * You may replace one or more of above spots by Akihabara electric town, Tokyo GOV observatory, Hamarikyu garden (admission fee required) , Yanaka street, etc.

Absolutely worth the cost. Hiro was professional, flexible, informative and responsive. His tour was a great way to start off our Japan travels. He met us close to where we were staying and adjusted the agenda to what we requested. He is a Japanese instructor and has excellent English. We were able to get some language lessons and get a glimpse into the Japanese culture from a local willing to share. I highly recommend this for families, individuals or small groups because he can adjust the day to your requests and needs.

We enjoyed a one day tour of Tokyo with Hiro. Hiro was awesome! We saw more of Tokyo in 5 hours with Hiro than we would have seen in 2 or 3 days on our own. Using the extensive subway system and walking, Hiro took us to the oldest parts of Tokyo, and then to the newest. He recommended an excellent Ramon restaurant for lunch in Shibuya, and took us to the free observation deck in Shinjuku. Unfortunately it rained for most of the day, but Hiro didn’t let that slow us down at all. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and eager to show us the parts of Tokyo we were most interested in. If you only have a short time in Tokyo and want to make the most of it, we highly recommend Hiro!
Your Tokyo tour itinerary
One of my original itineraries is as below. This tour is especially fit for those who love to learn the history & culture of Japan. • 0900 Meeting up at an agreed upon place in central Tokyo • 0930 - 1015 Fish Market, Honganji Temple, in Tsukiji • 1045 - 1130 Sensoji temple/ Nakamise alley in Asakusa • 1200 - 1245 Double Bridge or *East Garden of Imperial + Light lunch or coffee break is recommended. • 1315 - 1400 Meiji Shrine, or Omote Sando Fashion Avenue Takeshita Youth Fashion Alley in Harajuku or Scramble Crossing in Shibuya / End of the tour * It closes on Monday and Friday. (NOTE) You can replace any of above places by one/ two of the following places. Yanaka traditional shopping street/ Akihabara Electronics & Anime Town / Ameyoko Ex-black market street / Observatory of Tokyo government office, Kabukicho, Drunkards Heaven in Shinjuku
