Hi there! I’m Kumi, your friendly guide. My big, happy smile will be the first thing you see when we meet, and I promise it will set the tone for a fun and relaxed adventure together. Here’s a quick riddle for you: Q. If you need a tour guide and a professional photographer, how many people do you need? A. Just one—Kumi! Not only will I guide you through the best spots, but I’ll also capture your journey with stunning photos that you can cherish forever. My photography has received rave reviews, and I’ll send you beautifully edited JPEGs after the tour. If you’re into photography, I’d love to share tips to help you capture amazing shots too! But it’s not just about the photos. My tours are all about creating joyful moments and making sure you feel cared for every step of the way. Whether you’re discovering hidden gems, enjoying a bowl of ramen, or simply taking in the sights, we’ll have a fantastic time together. Curious about what my tours are like? Check out this photo slideshow: https://shorturl.at/rhvnX (By the way, I speak faster in person than in this video!) A little about me: I’m a Tokyo local who loves cats, ramen, jogging, jazz, and the works of Haruki Murakami. I started guiding in 2017 and have combined my love for photography and guiding to offer a unique way to explore and capture the beauty of Japan. I can’t wait to meet you and create wonderful memories. Let’s make your trip to Japan truly special! See you soon, Kumi - National Government Licensed Guide Interpreter (Cert. # EN00884) - Trained with the Japan Federation of Certified Guides (JFG) - Studied photography at the International Center of Photography (ICP) in New York

This 4-hour tour will be tailored to your preferences. If needed, I can also teach you how to navigate the subway system, making travel in Japan much easier. Additionally, I’ll offer useful Japanese phrases to enhance your journey. If you prefer, I can arrange a private car, or we can simply use taxis for some parts of the tour. Throughout the tour, I’ll take photos of our experiences, and after the tour, I’ll provide you with JPEG images as a lasting memory of your time in Tokyo. Let’s make it a trip to remember!
Kumi will meet you in your hotel lobby and take you to 2-3 sightseeing spots. We can end the tour at your hotel, or if you’d like to visit a spot for shopping, dining, or sightseeing, I can guide you there and explain how to return to your hotel afterward. You could also consider visiting the following places instead of the locations listed above. - Asakusa (Sensoji Temple and Asakusa Shrine) - Hamarikyu Gardens or Kyu-Shibarikyu Gardens - Imperial Palace (* East Gardens are closed on Mondays and Fridays) - TOKYO SKYTREE TOWN - Nihombashi (Japan's zero milestone and the oldest department store) - Ginza (luxurious shopping district like 5th Av in NYC) - Meiji Shrine (peaceful shrine in the woods located in the center of Tokyo) - Omotesando (street with unique architecture) - Shibuya (an iconic intersection)
