There are not enough words to express how amazing our tour was with Kumi. We are so appreciative of our experience here in Tokyo. Her extensive knowledge of Japanese history and preparedness for our entire tour was top notch. We had a blast everywhere we went. Not only was she touring us through Tokyo but she was teaching us tips and tricks on how to have an easy traveling experience and local spots that you would miss had you not lived here. The pictures she took of us were beautiful and now the memories of this experience are with us forever. She went out of her way to send us extra information to help our stay before AND after our tour. I would absolutely recommend doing this tour to anyone and to do it when you first get here. Additionally, I’ll offer useful Japanese phrases to enhance your journey. For your convenience, I can arrange a private car upon request. The cost of the car is not included in the tour price and will be charged separately. Alternatively, we can travel by subway or taxi, depending on your preferences and itinerary. I will be happy to help you choose the most comfortable and efficient way to get around Tokyo. Kumi will meet you in your hotel lobby and take you to 2-3 sightseeing spots. We can end the tour at your hotel, or if you’d like to visit a spot for shopping, dining, or sightseeing, I can guide you there and explain how to return to your hotel afterward. You could also consider visiting the following places instead of the locations listed above. - Asakusa (Sensoji Temple and Asakusa Shrine) - Hamarikyu Gardens or Kyu-Shibarikyu Gardens - Imperial Palace (* East Gardens are closed on Mondays and Fridays) - TOKYO SKYTREE TOWN - Nihombashi (Japan's zero milestone and the oldest department store) - Ginza (luxurious shopping district like 5th Av in NYC) - Meiji Shrine (peaceful shrine in the woods located in the center of Tokyo) - Omotesando (street with unique architecture) - Shibuya (an iconic intersection)
