This review is well overdue ...We visited Japan in September 2024, and Kaoru was absolutely wonderful. We had limited time in Tokyo at the front end of our Japan tour and so we provided Kaoru with the type of sites we wanted to see and learn about. Kaoru came up with very enjoyable and well paced sessions over two days that met everything we proposed. Kaoru was interested in us and where we come from and likewise, she was happy to share some of her life and experiences living in Tokyo. Thank you for a lovely time Kaoru. Kaoru did a nice job as we only had her for 3 hours. We really enjoyed seeing Asakusa and the Sensoji Buddhist temple and and Asakusa jijinja shrine, the Asahi Bldg and later the Kitomizu temple- Buddhist. Then because the National Museum was closed, we parted ways and had lunch and shopped in the old "black market" area, which was great.
