I am a certified Tour Guide, graduated from The Icelandic School of Travel and Tourism, and a fully licensed Tour Operator by The Icelandic Tourist Board. I can of course, if needed, organize tours for bigger groups which includes renting a bigger vehicle/bus. Waterfalls, glaciers, volcanos and black beaches - from Reykjavik
Overview of your Reykjavik tour
In some people's opinion the South Coast has the most stunning and awe inspiring landscapes in Iceland. The largest glaciers, most famous volcanoes, most dramatic cliffs and beautiful waterfalls. First stop Hveragerði where we'll make a quick stop to buy some food to nibble on during the journey and try out the earthquake simulator situated in the shopping mall. We'll drive through Selfoss and Hella. When reaching Hvolsvöllur I do recommend making a stop at the Lava Center where you can experience a thrilling volcano exhibition, surrounded by many of Iceland's volcanoes f. ex. the famous Eyjafjallajökull. Then we'll enjoy the mesmerizing waterfall of Skogar, walk on the volcanic black sand beach of Reynisfjara and get in close contact with the glacier Sólheimajökull. On our way back to Reykjavik we'll go behind the magical Seljalandsfoss, visit the hidden waterfall Gljúfrabúi . We will of course stop for lunch and photos whenever you request.
