Hi My name is Björn ( it means Bear) yes we name people after animals in Iceland! On my tours, I like to treat everyone like old friends. Keeping things chill and honest makes the whole day way more enjoyable. My goal is to make sure the day doesn’t feel like you’re being bombarded with a bunch of random facts, like exact dates or the names of every mountain in Iceland (trust me, you won’t remember them five minutes later anyway!). Instead, we’ll keep it light, fun, and feel like we’re just cruising around with friends on a Sunday drive. Don’t get me wrong, I’ll still fill you in on everything you need to know— the more questions you ask, the better the tour will be! More about me I´m new here at tours by locals but have been a guide since 2012 and lived in Iceland all my life, that means there is just about no place in Iceland where I have not been. Since I got my drivers license I have been a flyfishing guide assisting people that are fishing Atlantic Salmon. That is how I started guiding and showing people my beautiful country I´m knowledgeable about, geology, history, geography, culture, economics of Iceland and of course politics ( if you dare to talk about that) . You can feel free to ask for custom made tours or adjustments any tours. If you have an idea I can make it happen. Group size: 1 - 6 ( for 7+ please send message ) type of guide: Driver guide vehicles: Mercedes V-class, Toyota land cruiser jeep, mini bus or just about anything your group needs Tours: custom made tours and all other tours from Reykjavik With over a decade of guiding experience, I am committed to making your time in Iceland as smooth, fun and memorable as possible. Let me share my love for this beautiful country with you and provide a tour experience that’s personal, engaging, and truly one-of-a-kind. I look forward to showing you the wonders of Iceland! - Licensed professional driver - all vehicles licensed & insured - licensed travel agency - BS degree in Finance university of Iceland

Start your day at Gerduberg Basalt Columns, a stunning wall of geometric basalt formations. Visit a hidden spot few tourists know about, then drive over the mountains, stopping for views and a possible walk to a small waterfall. After lunch at a local restaurant, head to Kirkjufell, Iceland’s most photographed mountain, featured in Game of Thrones. Drive through Hellissandur and Rif, fishing villages, before entering Snæfellsjökull National Park. Explore the Svörtuloft Lighthouse, yellow beach, and ocean cliffs. Visit Djúpalónssandur, a beautiful black pebble beach, then stop at Lóndrangar basalt cliffs. See Arnarstapi and Gatklettur Arch Rock, formed by waves. If the weather allows, drive up to Snæfellsjökull Glacier for panoramic views. Optionally, hike to Rauðfellsgjá Canyon, a gorge with a waterfall. A day filled with nature’s wonders!
