Hello and welcome to Reykjavik! My name is Sergei, and I'd be happy to show you around Iceland. Let's say you're planning a visit to Iceland and a quick tour of the country. In this case, we can arrange a private tour from Reykjavik to discover the most interesting sights along popular routes. Please let me know if you have any additional ideas or special requests for your trip, and I'll be happy to organize a tour. Since 2015, I've been a pleasant, practical, and responsible guide, running my own tour company. I'm passionate about Icelandic nature and can tell you about the Icelandic sagas or explain the geological structure of our island. I've traveled extensively, spent several years as a sailor, worked as a maintenance engineer, and visited many countries. As an outdoor enthusiast, I enjoy traveling both domestically and internationally. I have extensive experience as a driver-guide using suitable transportation. The vehicles used for our tours have all the necessary permits from the Icelandic Transport Authority. Let me show you Iceland through the eyes of a local and a visitor who has lived in this beautiful country for 25 years! Welcome aboard!

Highlights: • The perfect tour for photographers and nature lovers • Sweeping views over Iceland's soaring cliffs and black-sand beaches • Hassle-free round-trip transport from your hotel in Reykjavik

We were very happy with the 4 days/3 tours we did with Sergei. He enriched our visit with his extensive knowledge of Iceland. He does everything he can to make our visits enjoyable, comfortable and informative. We will be recommending him and Tours by Locals to our friends and fellow travelers.
Our guide, Sergei, who we were fortunate to have 3 non-consecutive days with, was attentive, intuitive to our needs, helpful as well as extremely knowledgeable. We visited the Golden Circle, South Coast/Glacier Lagoon and Snaefellsnes. Each day that we had him as our guide felt like seeing an old friend again. He is a 5 star plus 5 more stars guide and driver!!
Excellent guide, great itinerary, wonderful day on the Snaefellsnes Peninsula.
Our tour of western Iceland was superb. Sergei is an outstanding tour guide and really highlighted all of the beauty of this area. His exceptional knowledge of the area was evident, and he made this a day we would always remember. Sergei was punctual, attentive to our needs and answered all of our questions. We had the best fish soup ever at the restaurant he recommended. I would highly recommend Sergei for this and any Reykjavik tour.
We spent a wonderful day touring the Snaefellsnes Peninsula with Sergei. From a seemless cruiseport pickup, a comfortable car, and amazing vistas. His photography skills are excellent, which helps when you want a family photo, and he is friendly, knowlegeable and accomodating.
This is my suggested itinerary, which can also be adapted to your interests. So please let me know if you want to change the itinerary or add any activities. Places to visit: • Ytri Tunga. This is a 30-minute stop. Just offshore, on the rocks jutting out of the water, you can see at least a few seals from the local colony throughout the year. • Budir Church. 20-minute stop. Explore the old black church from the mid-19th century. • Arnarstapi fishing village. This is an hour-long stop. Enjoy the view of the small harbor, walk along the picturesque coastline, and find the Gatklettur arch. • Arnarstapi restaurant. 1-hour stop for lunch. • Londrangar cliffs. 30-minute stop. Take a short walk to a viewpoint with breathtaking coastal cliffs. • Djupalonsandur beach. 45-minute stop. Follow a trail through a lava field and explore a pebbled beach with mysterious rock formations. • Kirkjufellsfoss Waterfall. 30-minute stop. Walk to the waterfall at the foot of Kirkjufell Mountain, a popular photo spot.
