We had a wonderful tour with Erla. She was very friendly and responsive from the moment we booked the tour. We had a small wish to visit a waterfall along the way because we didn’t have time for the Golden Circle, and Erla happily adjusted the plan for us. She took us to Kermóafoss, it turned out absolutely stunning. The tour included main city highlights, and Erla shared many interesting facts that helped us understand Iceland better. She then took us to the stables for the Icelandic horse riding, stayed with us, supported us, and made sure everything went smoothly so we could feel relaxed and enjoy the moment. Truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. After that, Erla brought us to the Perlan Museum, where we experienced the volcano, ice cave, and Northern Lights exhibitions, the 3 must-see activities there. Thanks Erla, for such a thoughtful and unforgettable day. Highly recommended!

Overview of your Reykjavik tour
We start by going to Bessastadir, the White House of Iceland where the seventh president of Iceland lives along with her family. From there, there is only a short drive to the town of lava, vikings and hidden people, Hafnarfjordur. After having a look at viking buildings, hidden people's homes and the elf garden we will head towards the stables where you can enjoy a 1 1/2 hours tour on the beautiful Icelandic horse, in lava covered landscape. After a successful tour where you get well acquainted with the horses, we will head back to Reykjavik, visiting Perlan Museum, entering an ice cave and taking a stroll around the nature museum before going outside to the 360° viewing deck. Here we also have a chance to enter the Northern Light Planetarium. We will end this tour by going around to the main attractions in Reykjavik such as Hallgrimskirkja, the City Hall, the House of Parliament, Harpa Conference House, the lovely Sun Voyager and last but not least Hofdi, where the Reykjavik summit was held.

She is very passionate about her country and eager to share her immense knowledge about Iceland's history, culture, nature, etc. She learns your interests and includes stops that you will enjoy. She also made great suggestions for things to see in other parts of Iceland. Riding an Icelandic horse was the highlight! Even if you have no experience you will enjoy the ride. The stable is excellent, the horses are sweet and very kind, and the staff is very helpful.

Your Reykjavik tour itinerary
This tour can be taken either in the morning or in the afternoon. If you choose a morning tour then pickup is at 8:30 am for us to be at the stables at 9:40 am. Horseback riding until 11:30 and then we continue enjoying the rest of our tour until I bring you safely back at 1 o'clock pm. If you choose to do this tour in the afternoon the Pickup is at 1:15. Then we would start at the stables and after enjoying your horseback riding we would do the rest of our tour as seen in the overview, ending at 5:45.
