Sergi gave us a wonderful tour with all the highlights of the Golden Circle and the south coast. He was very informative about all the places we visited. I would highly recommend him if you’re looking for this type of tour. He met us on time and was easy to find. I left my glasses behind in his van and I very much appreciated him making a special trip back to the port to get them back to me. We saw everything we wanted to see and then some. The lunch at the greenhouse is not to be missed.

Thingvellir has also been a gathering place for settlers since the Viking Age. • Geysir Valley. Stop for 45 minutes. Take a short walk around the area to explore hot springs, including the original Geysir, and watch the eruptions of Strokkur geyser. • Gullfoss Waterfall. Stop for 45 minutes. See the two mighty cascading waterfalls from different angles, and take the lower trail for a closer view. • Fridheimar Greenhouse. Stop for 50 minutes. Visit a tomato greenhouse for lunch. • Seljalandsfoss Waterfall. Stop for 30 minutes. Explore Seljalandsfoss waterfall and follow the trail behind it. • Reynisfjara black sand beach. Stop for 30 minutes. Enjoy a walk along the black sand beach and explore the basalt columns. • Skogafoss waterfall. Stop for 30 minutes. View the waterfall from a lower point and get as close to the waterfall as possible.
