Our full-day Golden Circle tour with Haraldur was fabulous! Our first and longest stop was Thingvellir National Park, with its dramatic rocky scenery and its important place in Icelandic history. We explored the rift area between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates, plus much more. We climbed to the top of the stunningly beautiful Gullfoss waterfall, then drove to the Strokkurhot spring geothermal area and Kerid crater. Along the way Haraldur provided expert commentary on the sites. He made it all so interesting and enjoyable, and we learned so much from him. He was so kind and accommodating. This was one of the top highlights of our trip to Iceland. Highly recommended.
