Blue lagoon and volcanic Reykjanes peninsula - Full Day Tour with Stefan

This was a fabulous excursion. We loved the Blue Lagoon and the bridge between the continents. Stefan did a great job of adjusting the tour to accommodate some of my orthopedic issues that limited my walking. He also adjusted the tour to accommodate our request to have a nice sit down lunch. He was very knowledgeable and informative. We learned a lot about the geology and history of Iceland and about the areas forced to evacuate because of volcanoes and earthquakes. Stefan was a much better guide than other guides that we had on our excursions through the cruise line. He was very attentive to our requests and our needs. He also was very responsive to all of the emails that we sent him in advance with numerous questions. We highly recommend this excursion and using Stefan for any excursions.

Stefan is an excellent, knowledgeable, and patient guide. We appreciated that his English is excellent and easy to understand. In addition, his vehicle is very comfortable and Stefan is a very good driver. Stefan easily adjusted the schedule to focus on our individual interests and organized our itinerary beautifully and seamlessly. We had an excellent experience of learning, enjoying the Blue Lagoon, and seeing the beautiful and interesting sites. The pace was excellent and our expectations were exceeded. We certainly recommend Stefan.

Stefan was informative, engaging, and fun to be around. :-) He shared his experience and knowledge of the country’s history along with in-depth explanations. His attitude was friendly and welcoming, going above and beyond to accommodate us. We would definitely recommend him. He was an excellent tour guide.

We arrived at 5 am at the international airport and would not board our Windstar ship until 1 pm. Stefan provided a wonderful tour of local fishing towns, geothermal active area, the continental shelf bridge, blue lagoon and Reykjavík. Being a local his knowledge was vast. I would highly recommend him for your precruise adventure. He is one of the first tour guides to join tours by locals. We were very lucky to benefit from his vast knowledge.
