Hi, I’m Jake, an American guide living in Iceland and deeply passionate about sharing this incredible country with visitors from around the world. I first came to Iceland for the adventure and quickly fell in love with the landscapes, the culture, and the quiet power of nature here. What started as exploration turned into a calling. Now I spend my days guiding travelers through dramatic fjords, waterfalls, volcanic landscapes, and small fishing villages while sharing the stories that make each place come alive. My style is relaxed, flexible, and personal. I believe the best tours feel less like a scripted presentation and more like exploring with a knowledgeable local friend. Whether you want stunning scenery, local history, photography stops, hidden gems, or simply a great conversation along the way, I tailor each experience to fit your interests. I look forward to helping you experience Iceland in a meaningful and unforgettable way.

Join us on a scenic 4-hour small group minibus tour from Ísafjörður to one of Iceland’s most iconic waterfalls, Dynjandi. Travel through the breathtaking landscapes of the Westfjords with photo stops at stunning coastal viewpoints along the way. Keep an eye out for seals resting on the shoreline, seabirds soaring overhead, and even the occasional whale spotted in the fjords. At Dynjandi, you’ll have time to walk up to the waterfall and experience the beauty of the Westfjords’ most famous natural attraction. On the return journey, we stop in the charming fishing village of Flateyri. If time allows, guests are welcome to enjoy a quick coffee, pastry, or light lunch at the local café while soaking in the atmosphere of this historic village. Departure times vary according to your ship’s schedule. We will send your exact departure time the evening before your tour. Tours typically depart around 90 minutes after your ship arrives and disembarkation begins.
Depart from the Port of Ísafjörður and travel through the spectacular Westfjords toward Dynjandi. Along the way, enjoy scenic photo stops overlooking the fjords, mountains and coastline. Visit Hóltsbryggja, a peaceful pier surrounded by a beautiful white sand beach and the dramatic mountains of Önundarfjörður. Continue to Dynjandi, the largest and most famous waterfall in the Westfjords. Enjoy time to walk alongside the smaller cascades toward the impressive main waterfall. On the return journey, stop in the historic fishing village of Flateyri. Take a short walk through the village and enjoy views across Önundarfjörður before returning to your cruise ship in Ísafjörður.
