Tour to Kissamos area: villages, landscape, culture and local cuisine.

I'm Zoi , I live in Chania and I' m a teacher. I' ve attended Civil Engineering courses, I studied to become Primary School teacher and recently took my Tour Guide Licence. I speak English and French fluently. I' ve worked in tourism for 5 years. I've recently -due to pandemic period- discovered the hidden beauties of the island I've always lived in. As a mother of two children, a toddler and a pre-adolescent, I experienced the need to find our ways out of it, so we started organising day trips to close destinations, far from the city but also far from the coastline. Though I 'm a local, I had never imagined the variety of hidden landscapes of Crete -I mean except for the well-known and mostly advertised ones! My day trips include 2 to 5 seperate destinations/points of interest, with small driving distances between them, so they might be suitable for people used to a normal physical activity, no matter what their ages are. The trips usually include walking, hiking, sightseeing and swimming. Any trip can be customizable according to your interests and availability. My personal goal through a day trip is to be able to see and experience to the maximum what a full day can provide: nice views, an unforgettable landscape, history and culture of the place and in the end, relaxing around a table with local tastes!
