Chania Town, Gorge and Cretan Landscape Full Day Tour

George was amazing. His English was perfect with just the right amount of Greek accent. Our day was completely customized for our interests and likes. He allowed us to decide how we wanted to view each attraction. His knowledge of Crete and Greece history was extremely valuable and made our day a history lesson. George allowed us insight into his life and his family. George took us to his favorite restaurant in a small mountain village. The food was authentic greek and reasonably priced. We were able to sit outside and watch the children and village activity. Be sure to let George order for you as his years living in US and UK gives him insight into the line between our likes and available Greek food. Be sure to try the fresh Orange Juice. My 22-yr old granddaughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our private tour of Chania and the surrounding area. The tour was very special because of our tour guide, George T. Chania Old Town was fun as we learned about the history, architecture, local culture while wandering through quaint narrow streets. Also, we got in a bit of shopping in local craft shops. Beautiful scenery as we traveled up through the gorge (dodging goats along the way!) to great panoramic views and many photo ops. The highlight was our delightful lunch at an amazing restaurant in a small village. George selected a variety of fresh local dishes for us to try (family style) ...featuring delicious meats - goat, lamb and pork. George was an excellent guide, professional, personable and very accommodating. If you ever visit Chania on the island of Crete...contact George T! Thank you, George, for an amazing day!

This is an awesome tour. if i could give it 6 stars i would. the reason is we loved how george took us to all the lovely local places to eat and shop.he was very professional. crete is my favorite greek island and once again, it didn’t disappoint. when we come back here we’d contact george again to help us.

George was an outstanding guide. He gave us a great tour of Chania and then took us into the back country to some beautiful landscapes. His choice of a family owned farm/resturant in the hills of Crete was perfect and the entire experience there was amazing. Highly recommend him as your guide.
