Chania old town and lunch on a mountain restaurant

We had an excellent day doing the “Chania town and lunch on a mountain restaurant” tour with Peter! It really was the perfect combination of historical sites, free time for shopping (and Peter’s recommendations were spot-on), and countryside landscapes and views. We stopped at a charming mountain village for honey tasting and to have a delicious true Greek lunch at an authentic, local restaurant. Peter is so polite and kind; a true gentleman. We highly, highly recommend taking a tour with Peter!!!

The four of us spent the day with Peter while in Chania and he was the perfect guide for us. Peter was great to communicate with before hand as during the tour. He explained all the areas we were going to see before we got out and explored on our own. The law in Greece does not allow driver guides to enter properties but he prepared us so that we were able to understand everywhere we went. After the old city and surrounding areas we drove up into the hills. Seeing the landscape and animals along the way. We stopped at a wonderful family restaurant to see how the local families work together and spend time together. I would definitely recommend Peter as a guide.

Peter gave us a great day in Chania when we docked there for the day. We had a great walk around the Old town seeing the history, tasting some local products & avoiding the crowds where we could. We went up into the hills then for lunch at a little spot where the food & hospitality was exceptional. Good old fashion cooking on wood. Day topped off with a stop at the War cemetary for a part of shared history. We would recommend Peter to our family, friends & anyone else looking to go there.

We had a great day with Peter in Chania. We had a great walk around the old city. He did a great job. Explain the area and his knowledge was very good. We were even able to go into a private house to see a typical home. Unfortunately, the mountain top restaurant was closed the day of our trip, but we went to another restaurant where our lunch was absolutely amazing. A truly great excursion.!!

Peter and George provided my clients with an once in a lifetime experience for my clients. They were on a multi-generational trip, and they managed to find the perfect tour for all the age groups. I will not hesitate to my clients with them again! Thanks guys!!

We had an amazing day walking the streets of Chania with Peter. His knowledge of Chania’s old town was phenomenal. He took us for a scenic drive through the mountain side to a wonderful family owned restaurant. The owner who was so friendly cooked us up some amazing dishes which were all so delicious. This was a beautiful day and we would highly recommend Peter if you are doing a tour through Chania.
