Overview of your Bordeaux tour
Enjoy a ½ day exploring the best known wine region around Bordeaux: the Médoc. After meeting you, we will head for the Médoc region in a private car. Heading north of Bordeaux, we'll start with the tour by visit to a Cru Bourgeois winery, a very modern wine classification in Médoc. Walk through the vines, visit the vat room and barrel cellar and learn more about how the wines of the region are made. Then comes the best part: the tasting! Enjoy powerfull cabernets and smooth merlots, have a taste of the famous Bordeaux blends! We will then continue to visit a second winery in the prestigious and historical wine appellation of Margaux. After learing about the wine growing process and specificities of the château, you'll taste several top-notch red wines from a Grand Cru Classé 1855 !
Your Bordeaux tour itinerary
Here's the programm, which can be adapted on request: - After a 45-minute drive from Bordeaux, we arrive in the Médoc region. We'll stop at a first winery for a guided tour and tasting (approx. 1h). At least 3 red wines tasted. - Then we'llo go to Margaux (15 minutes) for a tour at Grand Cru Classé winery and tasting (approx. 1h). AT least 3 wines tasted - Grand Cru Classé red wines. - We will then return to Bordeaux (approx. 45 minutes) where I will drop you off wherever you wish.
