Full day tour where you can do Eagle's Nest and Ice cave on one day. The tour takes you first to Eagle's Nest in Bavaria. On the way we will see where Hitler's secound headquarter was. The tour to Eagle's Nest continues by busride and lift. From Obersalzberg to Werfen is a ride along the river Salzach. Passing the city of Hallein and the village of Golling. In Werfen we can do the Icecave with the cable car and Castle Hohenwerfen Schloss Adler. The ride up to the Dielalm takes us to the guitar scenery of the Do Re Mi song in the Sound of Music. We return to Salzburg taking the highway.
Didi is a fantastic tour guide! He is extremely knowledgeable about everything in the area and he was able to help customize our tour so that it suited everyone in our family. We got so much more out of our tour with Didi than we did trying to explore on our own.
Awesome tour with Didi! Even though the weather was dreadful, Didi did a great job taking us where he could and pointing out as much as he could. He was extremely friendly and was a wealth of information. He even put up with us asking tons of questions about the area. Highly, highly recommend any tour with him!

We enjoyed our day with Didi from the moment we met him at our hotel! He personalized the tour for us to include seeing The St Nicolas church and Franz Gruber's home in Hallein which was very special to us! Seeing The Eagles Nest and the sight of where Hitlers home was and simply Didi's wealth of knowledge of Austrian and German history was fantastic!!! There was so much else included in our day such as the monastery in Biersgarten, Ice Caves, and many Sound of Music sites!!!!! Thank You!! A great day!!!
Didi was a great guide! Very informative and knowledgable of the area and history and chose the hidden gems to showcase places the "locals" go, versus the toursists. I highly recommend Didi to show you around if you have a few hours, or a few days in Salzburg.
