Hello ! I am a native of Salzburg and I have been working in the tourist business since 1996. Initially being a tour guide was more a student job besides my studies of business administration, in which I have an MBA degree. After a while I noticed that this is not only a job, it is my real passion. Since then, I have been doing tours in large parts of Europe on coaches, minivans and ships during river cruises. Certainly, I am specialized in the Alpine region, particularly in the Salzburg and Bavarian area. My favorite tours are the lakes district tour to Hallstatt, the Bavarian mountains (Eagle's Nest, salt mines and Lake Königssee), the Ice Caves, Innsbruck and the Grossglockner High Alpine Road. My goal is showing my clients the most beautiful and interesting sights of my area and also places which are off the beaten tracks on private tours in my own Mercedes van. Apart from my mother language German, I am fluent in English and Spanish and can provide a big knowledge of history and geography in a relaxed way. In my free time I love to go mountain hiking, sailing and skiing. Additionally I am very interested in magic art and I am member of the magical society in Salzburg for many years. I have a license for the conveyance of passengers. I have a MBA degree for business administration. I am a professional driver-guide with an own company and minivan. I do not offer walking tours in cities in Austria, I only provide guided tours on my van.

A trip to Austria would not be complete without having visited the capital of the federal state of Tyrol, Innsbruck. The city is beautifully located in the Inn river valley between the Tyrolean mountains. It looks back to a very long history and two Olympic Winter Games. Nearby Innsbruck is the famous Crystal World of Swarovsky, one of the most visited museums in Austria. Visitors are enchanted by this beautiful kind of crystal craftmanship and its visual effects. This tour is very much appreciated by travelers, as it combines a lot of great experiences in one day. You will certainly enjoy the old and charming city centre of Innsbruck, but you definitely will be impressed by this splendid crystal art as well, and all that amidst a fantastic mountain scenery. As your guide I will take you through Innsbruck City, its surroundings and of course also to the Crystal World. As I am very familiar with this city, I will have a lot of interesting stories for you.
From the hotel in Salzburg this tour leads westwards via Lofer and St. Johann towards the Tyrolean Mountains. After a scenic drive of approx one hour we have a photo stop next to the impressive mountain range of the Wilder Kaiser. Then we continue our journey through the Inn river valley and after a drive of another hour we arrive at the Swarovsky Crystal World. There we have a break of approx. 2 hrs for visiting the museum itself, for taking great photos of the outside area including the famous Giant's head (entrance to the museum) and for having Lunch. From there we drive to the nearby city of Innsbruck. After having parked my van I take you on a tour covering the highlights of Innsbruck like the golden roof, the imperial palace or the St. James cathedral. Finally we drive to our last stop in Innsbruck, the olympic area at Mount Isel where you enjoy a stunning view across the city. After this break the trip goes back to Salzburg (2 hrs ) through the Inn river valley and Bavaria.
