Overview of your Salzburg tour

This roundtrip takes you from Vienna all the way along the river Danube through parts of the lake district Salzkammergut to Salzburg. City tour in Salzburg including tha palaces of Hellbrunn and Leopoldskron. You will overnight in Salzburg and the following day we visit the aerea of Berchtesgaden, where you can visit Eagle's Nest and further through the lake district with a stop in Hallstatt back to Vienna. As this you see all the sights of Sound of Music as well the Mozart city and the aerea of the third Reich at the Obersalzberg. Please note Eagle's Nest is only open from May until october!

Your Salzburg tour itinerary

Leaving Vienna toward Dürnstein. Further for a picture stop in Melk. Possibility to visit conzentration camp of Mauthausen. Stop in Mondsee to see the wedding church of the Sound of Music. Picture stop at the lake Wolfgangsee. Visit of Salzburg with Mirabell, Residence square, Getreidegasse and the Palaces of Hellbrunn and Leopoldskron. Overnight in Salzburg. Visit of the hills of Sound of Music. Obersalzberg with Eagle's Nest. Drive through the Lammertal towards Hallstatt. Bad Ischl, Traunsee lake and Gmunden. Then back on the Autobahn to Vienna.
