Overview of your Salzburg tour

This tour shows you the city center and it's surroundings. We start with a walking tour in down town. Visiting Mirabell Palace and it's Gardens, passing Mozart's Residence, the river Salzach and heading into the shopping street Getreidegasse. You will see the district of Salzburg Festivals, Saint Peter, Cathedral and Residence. If you want, you can purchase the Salzburg Card to visit the Musuems inside, such as Mozart's Birthplace, the fortress Hohensalzburg and the Dome quarter. Then we drive to the Palaces Hellbrunn, Fronburg and Leopoldskron. The mountain Untersberg, brewery Stiegl and Red Bull Hangar 7.

Didi was a constantly flowing wealth of knowledge. As a native and someone with "backstage access" to just about everything in the area, we navigated all the best sights with an "easy in easy out" plan that accommodated my entire family of 7. Didi kept the history coming - all the stories and important information that added context to everything we saw and experienced. He also drove extremely safely and was responsive to the changing needs of my group (food, rest, etc). Thank you Didi!

Didi was an excellent guide. Unfortunately, he didn't realize we'd purchased the Salzburg pass until later in our tour, so we were unable to take full advantage of the pass until late in the tour. It was still a great tour of Salzburg, and I would definitely recommend him for a day tour of the city. Didi was very knowledgeable about the history of the city and the various sites, and we saw so much more as a result than if we'd tried to see the sights on our own. Very thorough!
