Day tour to the Eagle's Nest in Berchtesgaden and city tour in Salzburg. This tour is ideal if you want to combine 2 highlights. The tour goes first up to the Obersalzberg Mountain to see wher Hitler's secound headquarter was. Then we visit the Eagle's Nest itself and the city of Berchtesgaden. In the afternoon we combine the city tour with driving and walking in the world culture heritage city. It shows you old town as well as new town and the palace Hellbrunn. The tour includes sights and story of the Sound of Music and Mozart. You can come by train all the way to Salzburg, Berchtesgaden or Freilassing.
Didi gave us a tour of the Berchtesgaden area of Bavaria in June 2023. We went to the Eagle's Nest, took a boat ride on Konigssee, and spent a little time walking around the Berchtesgaden Village. It was a very full day seeing the most unbelievable scenery any of us had ever experienced. Didi is extremely knowledgable about the area, his van was top rate and each of us came back to the States raving about the Alps. Highly recommended
One of the best private tours I've had (Salzburg + Eagle's Nest). Didi's knowledge base is vast. He delivered on all points of his itinerary plus customized for a couple other places I wanted to see. He was very professional and personable. His insight of history and culture have me already thinking about returning to experience even more of Salzburg than I could fit into this trip.

Didi was great. Our how family thinks he was our best tour guide for our entire European adventure. He was able to give us an overview of Salzburg including the Sound of Music sites as well as an extensive tour of the Eagle's Nest and WW2 sites. His knowledge of history is staggering. He kept all 3 of our teens interest and helped us to fall in love with Salzburg.

Then we visit the city of Berchtesgaden, time for lunch and shopping. Afternoon we drive to Hellbrunn Palace and Mirabell. Walking tour of Salzburg with Getreidegasse, Mozart'S Birthplace, Festival houses, Saint Peter, Cathedral and Residence. Tour can end in down town or at train station, hotel in Salzburg, Freilassing or Berchtesgaden.
