Welcome to Philadelphia! I have lived in the Philadelphia area most of my life, and, since I was a small child, I have adored showing people around this amazing city. I am proud of my role as a public historian and am eager to show you what I love about Philadelphia. On my tours, you will get so much more than the dry facts of a place. My tours focus on big ideas and the day-to-day lives of the people living those ideas. Whether we are discussing rebels fighting for independence from the crown, Lenape people fighting to protect their land, or the numerous people who came to this historic city to defend their rights and build a better life. We will all walk away from our tours with an enhanced perspective. You will not just be listening to me talk for several hours; we will be working together to explore what makes Philadelphia—and the United States—a truly unique place. Hopefully, you will walk away with more questions than answers. We will see the Liberty Bell, but we will also explore and learn so much more than that!
