I am a friendly and experienced Blue Badge Guide. I own a V Class Mercedes and can take groups of up to four people. I am a Blue Badge Guide, and I have spent eighteen years working as a guide in London and England. I have a history degree, and an MA (London Studies). I have also spent five years working as a tour director, travelling with groups throughout Western Europe, and I have spent eight years teaching teenagers history in a secondary school in London. I feel very fortunate to be able to work as a guide in London and England. I am confident my sense of humour, enthusiasm and professionalism will ensure you enjoy the time we spend together. I booked Marcus for a tour with a pickup at London Heathrow and drop off in Bath. My parents were supposed to be there as well but their flight got canceled so it was just myself and Marcus. What an extraordinary experience! Marcus delivered everything we hoped for and then some. He was outstanding in terms of knowledge, pleasant to be with, and very accommodating in terms of our needs and wants. Seeing Stonehenge, Glastonbury, and Avebury in one day worked beautifully with the way he carefully planned out the schedule. I would definitely use Marcus again...

This was our favorite day! We felt that we saw so much more of what England is really like, instead of just the big city of London. The countryside was beautiful, and we had lunch (and later a beer) at what were the most authentic places of our whole trip. This was a long day but definitely worth it. We really enjoyed the 1/2 day at Windsor Castle. Marcus' explanations of what we saw were much more interesting than just listening to pre-recorded audio. Marcus is a great tour guide with a lot of insight and wit regarding the information he shares.
