I am a friendly and experienced Blue Badge Guide. I own a V Class Mercedes and can take groups of up to four people. I am a Blue Badge Guide, and I have spent eighteen years working as a guide in London and England. I have a history degree, and an MA (London Studies). I have also spent five years working as a tour director, travelling with groups throughout Western Europe, and I have spent eight years teaching teenagers history in a secondary school in London. I feel very fortunate to be able to work as a guide in London and England. I am confident my sense of humour, enthusiasm and professionalism will ensure you enjoy the time we spend together. This tour provides you with an opportunity to visit a royal residence, castle and palace - and to learn more about the royal family and the history of the monarchy.

We really enjoyed the 1/2 day at Windsor Castle. Marcus' explanations of what we saw were much more interesting than just listening to pre-recorded audio. Marcus is a great tour guide with a lot of insight and wit regarding the information he shares.
This was the second time we used Marcus for a tour in London. We booked his services because we were so pleased with our first experience. Once again, we were thoroughly pleased with our experience. Because my husband was not feeling well when Marcus picked us up, along with our late arrival at our meeting point, Marcus was able to modify our tour to meet our needs. His flexibility and understanding along with his knowledge of the London area made our excursion very enjoyable. We would definitely book a tour with Marcus again.
Marcus, our chauffeur and guide drives very carefully around the city and highways. His knowledge of Windsor, and history of the British Royals is amazing, as well as his ability to explain this history. We enjoyed his explanations in Windsor as well as his recommendations for inside the castle and afterwards. We highly recommend this tour!
Marcus was extremely knowledgeable about Windsor and its surrounding areas! We had a great time.
We can't say enough great things about Marcus. He was extremely responsive to the plethora of questions we had including train information for a day trip we had planned to take on our own and scheduling recommendations for our last day of sightseeing. He agreed to pick us up an hour early so that we could squeeze in lunch in between our tours. Marcus was extremely knowledgeable and his humor made it interesting for everyone in our group. We highly recommend him.
