Overview of your London tour
This tour provides you with an opportunity to visit two stunning royal residences, a royal castle and royal palace. At Windsor Castle, our focus will be the royal family and the history of the monarchy. At Hampton Court we will focus on the reign of King Henry VIII, one of our most important and well known kings of England. Neither of these sites are very far from Central London, which means we can avoid having to spend too much time in the car.

'Marcus really made Hampton Court come alive for us with his attention to detail and the history of this beautiful example of life in Henry VIII's time. Though we had to cut our time a bit at Windsor he artfully had us navigate the key features successfully to also enjoy this site.

Marcus is a wonderful guide that has been guiding for a number of years. He was very knowledgeable and did a great job explaining everything to us. As a former teacher for several years of teens, he also knew how to engage and educate in a way that kept my son interested (14 year old) - that was a great bonus. This was the last day of our trip and Windsor / Hampton Court were our two remaining must do's. As an added bonus we were able to drive thru and eat in Eton - giving us a change to see the famous school. Which my son enjoyed - as he attends an all boys school in the US. We would recommend Marcus for future tours.
Your London tour itinerary
9am - 10 am Drive to Windsor Castle, which is only twenty miles from Central London. 10am-12pm Visit Windsor Castle (Queen Mary's Doll House, The State Apartments, St George's Chapel) 12pm Have lunch in Windsor. We can also have lunch in Eton, if you are interested in seeing our most famous 'public school'. 130pm - 2pm Drive to Hampton Court Palace, via Runnymede (where the Magna Carta was signed by King John I, in June 1215) 2pm - 4pm Visit Hampton Court Palace (The Great Hall, Chapel, Kitchens, Gardens and Maze) 4pm - 5pm Drive back to Central London, which is only fifteen miles away.
