Hello, my name is Iain and I'm here to help make your visit to Scotland memorable.

A proud Scotsman I have a keen interest in my nations History and Culture.
I have a BA degree . Major in Scots History and I have been involved in the Scottish Whisky and Golf industry most of my business career.
So all bases are covered.

Allow me to be your host for at least some of your time in what many consider to be the most beautiful country in the world. Whether you choose to sit back and relax as I drive you around our towns, cities and places of interest or accompany me on a city walking tour, I will do my utmost to give you an enjoyable experience.

I've been sharing my love of Scotland with visitors from all parts of the world since 2018. It's a job I love and suits my outgoing, friendly personality. I'll share my knowledge of all things Scots in an entertaining, educational manner.

My tours are varied in their contents and I am always open to my clients suggestions and requests. So if there's anything on your Scottish bucket list that I can help you fulfill please ask.

My vehicle is a Ford Galaxy People Carrier.
It is spacious , bright and has good visibility.
There are six passenger seats.
If your group are more than four please give thought to booking me.
The extreme rear seats are adequate for day touring but not ideal if you are tall and need extra leg room .

Scottish History .

Glasgow is Scotlands biggest city and it has lots to offer visitors. The Ayrshire Coast is quite a contrast yet so close.

In our day together I guarantee there is something for everyone to enjoy.

Glasgow's social , economic and political history . It's architecture , museums , shopping and people. A mini tour walking and driving through the city followed by a change in scenery and atmosphere as we make the short journey to Ayrshire. Birthplace of Scotlands most famous son Robert Burns. Medieval Castles , beautiful Gardens and scenery to make you feel glad to be alive.

Walk in the footsteps of Jamie and Claire as we take a journey back to post 2nd World War Scotland and Jacobean times!

A day tour around West Scotland with the emphasis on seeing locations used for the filming of the award-winning TV series Outlander. Based on the novels of American writer Diana Gabaldon much of the filming was in and around Glasgow.

You shall see Doune Castle which was Castle Leoch. George Square, the 1940's venue where Frank spontaneously proposed to Claire; Glasgow university which stood in for Harvard University, and Kelvingrove Park which doubles as Boston. Also see Troon Harbour where Claire, Jamie, and Murdagh board a ship for France in season 1. Enter The Crypt at Glasgow Cathedral which doubles as a Parisian hospital, Dunure Castle & Harbour ( Silkie Island).
