My name is João, a native son of Porto. I've been a certified Tourism Animator for the last 7 years, a Gentleman Rider for a few decades now and most importantly, in love with my city, her stories and importance in the World history. After a successfull, but not very fullfilling, career in management, I decided to create experiences that would allow me to work on and share my passions: my classic motorcycles, the love of my city, history and storytelling ( yes, I talk a bit!) That combination came together naturally to create my tour experiences that use the old neighborhoods, landmarks, viewpoints and facades to tell you the history and stories of Porto. ( It also allows me to start tours with guests and end with friends. ) My tours focus on: Porto history, local stories, local perspective, locals and their habits, landmarks, vistas; viewpoints, photography and wine tasting. After being a tourism guide for 7 years I realize that meeting new people and seeing them fall in love with Porto is what I really love to do.
