Douro Valley - Premium Full Day Tour from Porto

Timur is an excellent guide. We were treated to a tour of an olive pressing facility with a wine tasting and olive oil tasting, a river cruise that provide great panoramic views of the terraced vineyards, and a second vineyard tour of the vines and production facility also with a wine tasting. Timur also arranged for an excellent lunch at a wonderful restaurant with top notch service, food and views. We were able to spend time at each location with professionals who work at each location, everyone was lovely to visit with. We learned a lot of fascinating history and had great fun at each location. Timur is an excellent driver with all the steep narrow winding roads. A wonderful day that we will always remember!

Timur, a Porto resident, was a most professional guide, including his comfortable, immaculate car that he drove with great skill to and from our rainy trip to Douro Valley. Along the way he filled us with insightful information about the area & its history. His choice of winery visits was terrific. We saw a relatively small operation juxtaposed to one of the largest in the area. In both we were warmly attended and learned much about port. The boat ride too was a great opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the region. We were even able to buy fresh cherries from a road side stand that were delicious! Timur has a broad background in world travel and shared some valuable insights with us during the course of our ride. He was a wonderful guide who we would highly recommend

This tour with Timur was exceptional. First, his communication before the trip was great. He was quick to respond to any questions I had and assured everything was set immediately before the trip. The day itself was great from start to finish. Timur made sure that everything flowed flawlessly. The wine experiences were great and varied, the boat ride was a nice break and great way to view the vineyards and our lunch was exceptional. I would absolutely recommend this tour and wholeheartedly recommend Timur for organizing any experience that you may want guided.

We had a wonderful tour with Timur of 2 beautiful wineries in the Douro Valley. The views were amazing. We had a great lunch at a very exclusive small restaurant.
