From the time he picked us up in his comfortable car in Porto until he dropped us off in Lisbon, Rui filled us with information of Portuguese modern history and culture. He showed us the beautiful beaches of Nazare along with the fascinating Universidad de Coimbra before taking us to see the shrine to Our Lady of Fatima. We were never rushed and Rui patiently waited for us to enjoy each stop. It was an enjoyable and interesting day rather than a transfer between cities. Rui is an excellent driver & guide who was generous in helping us enjoy the day. We recommend his services to anyone wanting this experience.

Absolutely amazing! Rui helped us map out a custom itinerary based on our interests and knew all the best places to take us! He had connections at a few spots where he was able to give us access that other tourists didn’t have. He made sure we were comfortable at all times and accommodated any requests we had. We chose a private tour over other tours specifically for the higher level of attention and customization. I also didn’t want my husband to have the stress of trying to drive and navigate the streets of a foreign country. Rui took the stress out of all of that! Good option for getting between Porto and Lisbon, and seeing some sites along the way. Really enjoyed a couple of the stops, but realize that you're only at each stop for a short amount of time. It's enough to get the flavor though. Our driver was very nice, and informative. Although he drove very slowly on the freeway (like 90 kph in a 120 zone) when he was talking, so we learned to stay quiet when we wanted him to drive more quickly.
