Highlights of Porto, and its Surroundings - Half Day Tour

Olá and welcome to Porto and Northern Portugal! Porto is a beautiful and safe city to visit. Porto is a city that dates back to the 10th century where you have a huge variety of themes to choose from, such as history, arquitecture, churches and a great lifestyle not to mention the huge gastronomic variety and wine selection. Because Porto is a hilly city separeted by the Douro river you will find amazing and stunning views over the city and sightseeing spots. Last but not least, Porto is located in the coastal area so you will also find nice beaches and excellent views over to the Atlantic ocean. Last but not least, by the end of the day you may enjoy a drink watching a beautiful sunset. About me: I am portuguese borned in Macau, an ex portuguese colony, located in the far east, and I moved to Porto in the early 90's. I am graduated in engineering field where I worked for some time. I began travelling since my early 20's and travelled accross a great deal of countries and continents. Apart from the passion I have over travelling, I also like spending great time with my family. Based on my personal experiences in dealing with people from different cultures and backgrounds throughout the years, I decided to dedicate my professional life in the tourism area as a tour guide, organizing tours in and out of Porto around five years ago. Although I am not a licenced tour guide, I am registered in the Tourism Board of Portugal as a Tour Operator. It is a pleasure for me to share with you the knowledge I have from Porto and other cities and regions in the northern area of Portugal. Let me help you to fulfil a memorable and joyful experience in and out of Porto. It is a great challenge when starting a tour and getting to know the guests and by end of the tour, feel that the guests enjoyded and are overwhemed with the tour and become like a friend of yours. Truly rewarding. And because I travelled a lot in the past, I may adapt my tours according to customers preferences and interest or tailared made tours, without tight schedules in order for the guests to truly enjoy the moment that they are going through. Apart from facts and figures, storytelling and minor details also plays a big role in this experiences.
