We loved our walking tour with Ricardo. This was the first tour we did upon arriving in Porto and it was definitely the best way to start. We did visit the cathedral with him and he gave us time to explore it during our tour. He then recommended which sites would be most interesting to us to visit the next day - even provided some shopping and dining recommendations. He is clearly very proud of his city and it was nice to be guided by someone who truly enjoys their hometown. His English was perfect making him extremely easy to understand. We would highly recommend him as a guide!

Fabulous introduction to Porto! Ricardo was a treasure of knowledge and shared with us his suggestions for a great visit. He also steered us to a marvelous restaurant for dinner after our tour as well as encouraging us to reach out to him if we had any questions while in Porto. One whose passion, knowledge and depth immerses you into the history, culture and customs of those who populated an ancient city-in our case Porto. Ricardo’s tour was fun and informative. He is a great ambassador for the city. Truly a memorable 3 hours with this colorful and thoughtful historian. So much more than a “tour guide.”
