Helio , but he looked at us quizzically and never introduced himself. Later on in the day another local called him by a different name. His English was marginal and the tour...
We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Eleni! From the moment we met her, she brought an energy and warmth that made the day feel special. The scenic tour was breathtaking, and Eleni took us to several viewpoints in the mountains, through little coastal towns, and even down to a hidden beach. Later, we enjoyed a picnic‑style cheese and wine tasting at a former...

Regardless, our guide pivoted to an island tour that turned out very nicely. We went to a small family bakery in a smaller town and bought local bread. Then we went to a small store and...
Helio is very informative and knows his island well. We visited a ceramic factory and saw the processes first hand. No pressure to buy. Very interesting. Then we went to the oceanside and experienced the wine and cheese tasting with Sierra. There were two cheeses, both semi hard. The wines were good. They were Portuguese, but not from Azores. We got a narrated tour along...
