I’m Joel, a true Madeiran born and raised on this island. To me, there’s nothing more important than the place where we come from and the 'word' we give to others. I’ve always believed in treating people exactly how I’d like to be treated, with honesty, respect, and a genuine smile. I’m an adventurer at heart. I’ve spent a good part of my life behind the wheel of my Land Rover, exploring the geography of my home. I love getting off the main roads to find those quiet 'miradouros' and hidden trails that don't show up on maps. My favorite part of being a guide is taking you to the spots where we locals actually eat, drink, and hang out. The places that make Madeira feel like home, not just a postcard. My tours are private and completely flexible because I want us to go at your pace, like friends. We’ll chat, share stories, and yes, I’ll probably tell you some of my terrible jokes along the way! Whether you are traveling as a family, a couple, or on your own, My goal is simple: When we say goodbye, I want you to feel that you've really discovered the "soul of Madeira", and that you have a story to tell when you get home.
