My name is Lene, I'm 59 years old and born in Oslo. I'm educated as an engineer with a degree within economics, and got my diploma as an Authorized Oslo Guide in the year 2000. I have worked with tourists for 26 years now, and my favorite tours are the customized ones. I love to show my city and the sorrundings from all different angles - through history and storytelling, foodtasting, museums and streetart, crime- and ghostwalks, and everything that has to do with nature (walks, hikes and bicycle tours). I'm passionate about my work, and love getting in contact with people from all over the world. I like to tell the history in my way, sharing personal stories from my own life and my parents / grandparents life (I'm the 3.generation from Oslo). Funny or horrible stories are also a part of it, so that you maybe remember something when you come home... :) In Norway you need a professional driver license to drive guests for payment. My tours are either by public transportation, by foot or bike, or we can hire a car with a driver.

A perfect way to get a sense of this city and the country. Lene is very knowledgeable and has the gift to convey that knowledge attuned to her guest’s interest and background. She helped us sample some local cuisine, which was a treat. If you want to learn about Oslo and Norway in a pleasant way, engage Lene.
