Hi there, my name is Valeria (Valerie) and Welcome to Budapest! Discover this vibrant city with a native local. Having been born and raised here I had the chance to live on both sides of our capital Buda and Pest and I know all the "nooks and crannies" of this city. I have always liked being surrounded by foreigners and meeting people from different cultures and ages. Tour guiding and travelling are my passions. It was a great opportunity for me to live in Wales, United Kingdom for a year. I used to be an English speaking kindergarten teacher so I get on well with children, too. As a professional tour guide I have been showing travellers from all over the world around my hometown since 2016. I also have the license to guide in the largest synagogue in Europe. Valeria was an absolute delight. First impression - she was so patient as we were running a few minutes late when she showed up (on time) for our tour and did not make us feel stressed at all. We booked the 2.5 hour walking tour of Buda and Pest. Valeria picked us up at our hotel and shared her extensive knowledge of history with us as we explored the city. We walked over the Chain Bridge and made our way to the Castle District. It was a lovely tour and we highly recommend Valeria. She even made sure we got on the right bus when the tour ended!
