However, I quickly fell in love with the city and the people - my neighbors are families from China, Honduras, France, Ethiopia, Britain, Australia, etc. , and now I can't imagine living anywhere else. The beautiful monuments, incomparable museums and magnificent federal city are extraordinary, but what I truly cherish are Washington's distinct neighborhoods; rich in history, architecture and diversity of people. Since being in Washington, I have relished the time spent personally touring them with family and friends and I look forward to exploring them with you.
Experiencing Washington DC on foot is the most delightful way to see this historical and wondrous city - really touching and feeling this place. Getting close to the stunning architecture, talking with local residents on the streets and sidewalks; in essence, experiencing life the way locals do.

If you are a Kennedy history buff, I have a special love of the Kennedy homes and can show these and some of their favorite spots in Georgetown, including a possible lunch or dinner at famous Martins Tavern.
