I love my hometown. I was born and raised in the Washington, DC area. I've watched it change over the years to the city it is today. I am a second generation tour guide. My father taught me everything about giving tours. He was considered one of the best. He instilled in me that a good tour guide meets the need of whom ever hired him. When I'm not giving tours, I'm in the classroom as a guest social studies teacher. I've been teaching almost as long as I've been giving tours. I enjoy showing families the city in a very personal way. I think it's the only way to see it. Licensed tour guide for 30+ years. CPR/First Aid Certified. Former middle school Social Studies Teacher. Due to limited parking, I will not be able to escort you through the attractions. I am limited to where I will pick up to start tours.

In 1789, a French visitor called Alexandria "the finest city in the young United States". As we ride through Old Town, learn of how the city has played a role in U. S. history from the colonial time period to the 21st century. Visit, also, the estate of our first president of the United States under the U. S. Constitution. See how he lived , the bed in which he died, and those famous false teeth!
During our time in Washington, DC we booked three tours with Eddie our guide. This was the third of our trips. We went to see Mount Vernon. We had a little bit of a rainy day but we still enjoyed our experience. We always felt comfortable with Eddie driving and taking care of all the details. We would recommend him for any of the tours that he offers.
Eddie was a great guide! We thoroughly enjoyed our time with him. Very knowledgeable about Old Town Alexandria. Very flexible with time in case we wanted to stay longer at Mt Vernon. Would definitely book with him again

Eddie was an excellent tour guide. Old Alexandria and Mount Vernon are great to visit, however Eddie made it that much better. Regardless of what tour you take, get Eddie and you won't go wrong.
