He was a fantastic tour guide. Extraordinarily knowledgeable about all of Washington DC, Arlington cemetery, and Mount Vernon. Yvonne had never been to DC, but had red much about our history. The tour helped fill in and connect all the dots.
What a fun day. This was our second tour with Christopher and he didn't disappoint. We had front row seats (standing) for the Changing of the Guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and a visit to the Arlington House. On our way to Mt. Vernon, he drove around the historic part of Alexandria and told us about the history of the area especially how it related to George Washington. He accompanied us on the house tour of Mt. Vernon. Had an excellent lunch at the restaurant adjacent to the gift shop.
Christopher was a real joy to have as our guide today. He was extremely flexible and met requested changes to our itinerary with a smile. We had a great day visiting Arlington National Cemetery and Mt. Vernon with him and appreciated his seemingly unending knowledge of the area. This was our second day with him and it was even better than the first which was excellent.
