Overview of your Washington Dc tour
The Capitol Hill Tour begins with pickup by luxury car at your lodging location. Discover the Capital of the United States with a guided tour of the Crypt, the Rotunda, and Statuary Hall. Our tour will most often include the public galleries of the Senate and House of Representatives if Congress is in session. If fortunate, we may see a live debate between members of Congress. In addition, journey through several of the exhibits in the Library of Congress. Uncover its delightful architecture in the Great Hall and the Reading Room. This is not a usual library space! We recommend a stop inside the Supreme Court at their Café which is famous for their sandwich lunch specials. While at the Supreme Court we will explore the museum, Chief Justice Hall, and the courtroom itself. Each of the three venues has a unique gift shop. Let’s Explore the Capitol!

8:30-9:00: Pick-up and Transit 9:00-9:30: US Capitol Visitors Center and Statuary Hall 9:30-10:45: US Capitol Tour 10:45-12:00: Tour of the House of Representatives or Senate from the public galleries (only if Congress is in session) Exhibition Hall will be viewed if Congress is not in session. 12:00-12:45: Lunch at either the Capitol public cafeteria or Supreme Court Cafe 12:45-1:45: Tour of the LOC including the Great Hall and Reading Room 1:45-2:15: Time to explore the LOC exhibits. 2:15-2:30: Transit afoot. Supreme Court (SCOTUS) Security 2:30-3:00: SCOTUS Docent led tour of Courtroom 3:00-3:30: SCOTUS Museum 3:00-4:00: Transit back to lodging point.
