I love my hometown. I was born and raised in the Washington, DC area. I've watched it change over the years to the city it is today. I am a second generation tour guide. My father taught me everything about giving tours. He was considered one of the best. He instilled in me that a good tour guide meets the need of whom ever hired him. When I'm not giving tours, I'm in the classroom as a guest social studies teacher. I've been teaching almost as long as I've been giving tours. I enjoy showing families the city in a very personal way. I think it's the only way to see it. Licensed tour guide for 30+ years. CPR/First Aid Certified. Former middle school Social Studies Teacher. Due to limited parking, I will not be able to escort you through the attractions. I am limited to where I will pick up to start tours.

Edward was wonderful! He arrived on time and started the tour as soon as we got in the car. He was very knowledgeable, and gave us some inside stories and fun facts as we drove toward the Lincoln Memorial. There he dropped us off, gave us time to explore before picking us up on the other side. As with all the monuments. The White House was very busy with police presence and blocked roads, but Edward did his best to get as close as possible for our viewing. At the end of our tour, Eddie recommended a great place for lunch and dropped us off there. 3 hrs was perfect amount of time. There was a fair amount of walking. Something to consider if you have difficulty or whether is bad. Otherwise I highly recommend this tour.

Highly recommend this tour and especially Eddie as a tour guide. He was friendly, communicative, and a wealth of knowledge. We were able to see everything we wanted without the hassle of navigating the city on our own. He was a very safe and competent driver, and we never felt rushed by him. It felt like we were being taken around by a friend. He met us where our tour bus dropped us off and then dropped us off at the location of our choosing.

Edward was outstanding! We learned so much about D.C! His knowledge about the city, memorials, Smithsonian’s, and other facts were appreciated. This tour was perfect for my dad who has limited mobility. Edward was kind and attentive to my dad’s needs throughout the tour, which made the experience even better. There is no way we could have visited all that we did with the time we had. Highly recommend this tour with Edward!

We loved our Monument tour with Eddie! He was very knowledgeable & professional and we learned a lot about the various monuments, as well as the “back stories” connected to them. His microphone made it easy for the back seat passengers to hear what he was saying. We were especially glad that Eddie went out of his way to show us cherry blossoms in various stages of bloom & explained their significance to DC. We would highly recommend this tour & this guide!

We had the most amazing tour with Eddie! I reached out to him for a customized tour request and he did not disappoint! I didn't have to plan a single thing! My husband and I had the best time touring around Arlington and Washington, DC. I could not have asked for a better evening than the one Eddie provided us. As a nearly lifelong resident of northern Virginia, I thought I knew a lot of the fun little facts about the district and its history but Eddie is a bonafide expert in all things history and shared captivating stories and fascinating tidbits. I am inclined to book a tour with Eddie multiple times a year - he is a gem. Thank you, Eddie!

Edward was on time and very accommodating with pick-up/drop-off location requests. Very informative and tailored to my request. Would definitely book again.
