I love my hometown. I was born and raised in the Washington, DC area. I've watched it change over the years to the city it is today. I am a second generation tour guide. My father taught me everything about giving tours. He was considered one of the best. He instilled in me that a good tour guide meets the need of whom ever hired him. When I'm not giving tours, I'm in the classroom as a guest social studies teacher. I've been teaching almost as long as I've been giving tours. I enjoy showing families the city in a very personal way. I think it's the only way to see it. Licensed tour guide for 30+ years. CPR/First Aid Certified. Former middle school Social Studies Teacher. Due to limited parking, I will not be able to escort you through the attractions. I am limited to where I will pick up to start tours.

It's Lee second attempt at leading the Army of Northern Virginia into Union territory to bring the battle to the north. Opposing him, General George Meade, newly appointed commander of the Army of the Potomac. At stake, the outcome of the Civil War. Gettysburg was the turning point of the Civil War and you will experience it. See the famed Cyclorama mural of the third day of the battle; "Pickett's Charge". See artifacts and exhibits in the museum and visitors center. Finally a 2 hour tour of the battlefield.
