Hello everyone and welcome! I was born in Manila, Philippines. Being part of a diplomat family, I moved to the United States at the age of 3 months when my mother was assigned to the Philippine Embassy in Washington, D. C. I grew up in Fairfax, Virginia, a DC-area suburb and after graduating high school in 1998, I moved to Canada where I attended the University of Toronto earning a Hon. B. Sc. degree in Psychology and Cognitive Science. I have been a licensed Washington, D. C. guide for 22 years and a member of the Guild of Professional Tour Guides of Washington, D. C. since 2008. In addition to being a Private DC Guide offering private tours all over DC, I am a Licensed Tour Guide for the Washington National Cathedral, and do culinary/history tours of DC neighborhoods. I am experienced in working with families, school groups (elementary to college/university level), corporate groups, conference attendees, private parties, domestic visitors, international visitors, military groups, senior citizens. There is a sense of satisfaction and challenge in being able to share with any group interesting places that are rich in history and culture, knowing that I can offer a window of better appreciation and understanding of the places through facts and information I give them. Working with visitors enriches and sustains my interests in history, culture, and current development in Washington, DC and the world as whole, while at the same time offer them great experiences and opportunities outside their hometowns, cities, states and/or countries. Tours are always a good avenue for two-way interaction and learning experience not only for groups but for the tour guide as well. As a guide, group tours also provide me an opportunity to visit various places that will further my knowledge of these places and enhance my leadership abilities. Outside of guiding, my other interests, activities, and endeavors include working with successful business owners and entrepreneurs in the DC area doing brand expansion for a number of online and Fortune 500 companies, anything soccer-related (especially English Premier League and Chelsea FC), sporting games/events, exercise, health & wellness, food (cooking and eating), travel, watching movies, hiking, history, and reading. I look forward to sharing "my office" with you! Licensed Washington, D.C. Tour Guide (Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs) Member of the Guild of Professional Tour Guides of Washington, D.C. Licensed Washington National Cathedral Guide I am not a driver. I do not have a CDL (Commercial Driver's License). I can accompany you in your vehicle or we can use the city's Metro subway system or Uber.

"Not for fame or reward, not for place or rank, not lured by ambition or goaded by necessity. But in simple obedience to duty as they understood it. These men suffered all, sacrificed all, dared all, and died. " - Dr. Randolph Harrison McKim (1912) Formerly a plantation estate founded in 1802 by the step-grandson of President George Washington, George Washington Parke Custis, and the home of Civil War General Robert E. Lee for 30 years (1831-1861), since 1864 this cemetery serves as sacred and hallowed ground for the over 400, 000 military personnel interred representing all of the nation's wars from the American Revolution to the present-day.
-As you journey through Arlington, you will learn of the origins of the former Arlington Estate and how it became Arlington National Cemetery as a direct result of the Civil War. -When we visit the Arlington House (the Custis-Lee Mansion) and enjoy what is considered the best view of DC in the surrounding area. -Highlights also include visiting the Kennedy Family Gravesites and Eternal Flame - the final resting places of 35th President John F. Kennedy, First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, Senators Robert (Bobby) F. Kennedy and Edward (Ted) M.
