Overview of your Washington Dc tour

Get ready for an adventure! We will drive by and pass through Old Town Alexandria, pass by General Robert E. Lee's House, the Torpedo Factory and much more as we make our way towards Mt. Vernon. Upon arriving, together with your licensed tour guide you will enter Mt. Vernon and embark on a guided walking tour, stand exactly where George Washington and Martha Washington once stood, visit their gardens, walk into the Mansion, learn about life on the estate, where kitchens were located and lots of fun yet interesting historical facts, reasoning, and more! Together with your guide you will even walk to visit exactly where George Washington is buried on his estate, before entering the museum and learning more about life in Mt. Vernon!

Victor was a fantastic Tour guide, very knowledgeable, prompt, and had a great personality. He picked us up and dropped us back off at our downtown DC hotel. We did a tour of the mansion which is a must!! Victor also escorted us past the slaver quarters, carriage house, and George and Martha's Tomb then on to the museum. It was a total of four hours round trip, so, we didn't get to spend as much time in the museum as I would like and absolutely no time in the gift shop. I would recommend a longer tour.

Your Washington Dc tour itinerary

Our tour begins with hotel pick up in one of our multiple luxury vehicles such as the Cadillac Escalade ESV and the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter for larger families. Together we make our way and drive through Old Town Alexandria before arriving to Mt. Vernon. The entire tour within Mt. Vernon is a guided walking tour where you will experience life and learn about the Washington family. At the end of your tour, you have the option to end at one of the many restaurants on the waterfront in Old Town Alexandria. However, if you prefer to return back to your hotel, please let us know in your reservation and we would be happy to take you back during the time of your tour. We are excited to meet you and make your experience in Mt. Vernon memorable!
