I provide specialized insight while arranging customer entry to attractions, military bases, and clubs not normally accessible to the general public. As an eighteen-year resident of the National Capital Region I have studied the history of the area, visited each of its important sites, and discovered extraordinary exhibits, archives, and artifacts not widely known to the public. I'm a twenty-year veteran Navy Officer and graduate of the Marine Corps Command and Staff College. I'm now in my sixth year as a full-time professional guide. Tom is great! I would definitely recommend to friends and family.
Tom was a great tour guide. Very knowledgeable and easy going. We thoroughly enjoyed the day.
A group of 10+ of us all have the same sentiments that Tom was WONDEFUL.. It was so nice to have him for all 3 tours. This allowed us to get to know him better and vice versa. He was very knowledgeable about everything we saw and asked questions about. We appreciated the fact that he told us the high points but didn’t drone on about them. In doing so, he held our attention, and we were more engaged. We would use him again… 5 star.
This tour was the second one we took with Tom as our tour guide. Again, Tom proved to be a superb guide as we visited the memorials on the tour. He is a good storyteller, and he has a friendly wit, which we appreciated. Even though I had visited a couple of the sites before, he has gems of knowledge about the history that enriches the tour. I was concerned about how much time we were taking with my walker/wheelchair, but he never appeared hurried or impatient. He was interested in our wishes and made certain that I did not miss out on the memorials that we had planned. Book Tom as your tour guide as he is excellent.
If I could give 10 stars I would. Tom was AMAZING! We had three generations with us and he navigated us through the city and kept all age groups involved. Tom really made our trip memorable. He had a vast knowledge of everything and was able to get us to our destinations smoothly. We are still talking about Tom and the amazing experience we had. We highly recommend him to anybody looking to experience the city to it's fullest. I can't say enough good things about Tom!
