Hi, I'm Kaori, a National government licensed tour guide. I got a license in 2015. I currently live in Kitakyushu City with my husband and two daughters, and am very familiar with the tourism industry because I used to be a tour escort taking Japanese tourists around the world and Japan for 10 years. Not only in Kitakyushu city, but I can also guide people in many places in Fukuoka and surrounding areas in Kyushu and the mainland. I love to guide and customize tours with hospitality. Plus, I have lived in Gold Coast, Australia, and in Vancouver, Canada, working as a tour guide for Japanese tourists. Kaori is the best. What a wonderful day. She suggested an itinerary that took us to beautiful cherry blossoms a little before all the groups. Showed us more traditional sights. Added the best temple add the end. Thank you kaori!

Kaori was organized, had an itinerary. She was strategic in timing our tour to avoid the tour bus crowds. She was accommodating to our limitations, helped us find things off itinerary, got us into and out of the transportation modes without issue. We highly recommend her as a guide. She’s knowledgeable on Fukuoka and Hakata history.

We could not have had a better tour guide than Kao. She created a customized itinerary for us which included connecting with relatives we hadn’t seen in decades. She was flexible, helpful and a pleasure to be with. We asked her to visit an area that isn’t normally a tourist destination, Ashiya, and she created a wonderful day for us.
