Hello! Thank you for reading my profile. My name is Hitomi. I lived in foreign countries for over 8 years, such as US, Canada, France, Australia, Singapore and Spain. I love traveling like you do. Besides traveling, I enjoy drawing, painting, cycling, cooking and eating delicious food! I was born in Kagoshima, grew up in Miyazaki and now live in Fukuoka(all in Kyushu island!). What I love about Kyushu island is that people are friendly, it's not too crowded and the nature is beautiful. And most importantly the food is delicious! We have fresh fish, seafood, meat and so many kinds of delicious dishes! I got my guide license in 2017 and I've been working as a guide since. I love this job because I get to meet people from all over the world. Learning new languages and getting touch with other cultures inspires me. I find every tour is different and unique, and for me this job is very challenging and fun! My wish is simple that you go home with lots good and fun memories. Please let me be a part of it! I am a national certified guide. I am not a driver. I can arrange for a separate car and driver.

In the Edo period(1603-1868), Fukuoka was divided in two area, Samurai(warrier) lived in Fukuoka and merchants and craftsmen lived in Hakata. In this tour you can see both Fukuoka and Hakata, and see the difference between two. First, we get on the open top bus and enjoy a panoramic view of Fukuoka city! After that I take you to under ground shopping area to buy your delicious bento box(lunch) and enjoy it at nearby park. We continue walk to Hakata area, we visit Nakasu Kawabata shopping arcade and Kushida shrine. Let's visit an old town house and Machiya folk museum to see traditional crafts and also learn about Yamakasa festival. At the end, we walk to Tochoji temple and see a beautiful five storied pagoda and a big Buddha, we can also go inside the statue and do "hell tour"!
