Welcome to Japan! I am Miyoko, a Japanese National Government Licensed Guide Interpreter based in Fukuoka, and I love meeting people from all over the world. Born in Yamaguchi, I lived in Hong Kong for six years and now live in Fukuoka City. Before becoming a guide, I worked as a First-Class Purser on international flights. That experience taught me how to take care of guests, anticipate their needs, and make their time special — something I now bring to my tours as well. Today, I guide private tours, cruise guests, and multi-day tours in various parts of Japan. I especially enjoy bringing Japanese history and local culture to life through interesting stories, while keeping my tours relaxed, flexible, and comfortable. I mainly guide in Fukuoka, Nagasaki, Arita/Imari, Beppu, Yufuin, Takachiho, Kagoshima, Kumamoto, Hiroshima, and Yamaguchi. I enjoy traveling, watching movies and sports — especially baseball, football, and sumo — taking photos of planes, night views, and flowers, and dining out. Because of this, I can introduce you not only to famous landmarks but also to local restaurants and hidden gems. Whether you'd like to explore history and culture, enjoy beautiful scenery and local food, or simply have a relaxing day discovering Japan, I'll do my best to make your tour comfortable, fun, and memorable. I look forward to meeting you and sharing some of my favorite places in Japan!

Escape from the busy city and discover two of Fukuoka's most charming and photogenic destinations on this 7-hour tour with a private car. Our first stop is Yanagawa, a peaceful canal town known as the "City of Water." We will take a relaxing ride in a traditional flat-bottomed boat while enjoying the boatman's entertaining stories and songs. We will also visit Ohanā, a National Scenic Beauty site with a former samurai lord's residence, beautiful garden, and museum displaying rare samurai armor, swords and gold-leaf helmets. Next is Dazaifu, home to Dazaifu Tenmangu, Japan's most famous shrine for the god of learning. Its beautiful grounds feature ponds and traditional arched bridges. The lively approach is lined with around 70 shops and cafés where you can try local sweets and browse for souvenirs. They are two of my favorite places in Fukuoka, and I enjoy visiting them in my own time as well. I would be delighted to share with you what makes them so enjoyable.
